This is to inform that TCS iON™, a strategic business unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), is offering a 20-hour Foundational Skill Training program to students. The training program will cover Interpersonal Skills, E-Mail Etiquette, Group Discussion, Presentation and Soft skills, Resume and Letter Writing, Interview Preparation, Telephone Etiquette and IT Foundational skills. It will be a self-paced training, and students can access the course content anytime, anywhere and on any device through A.P State Council of Higher Education website.
The program will be made available free of cost to all students in the state of Andhra Pradesh which can be accessed through the website of the Council, www.apsche.org and by clicking on to the link https://iur.ls/D/DD4. On completion of the program, students will be assessed, and a digital certificate will be awarded to them. The intent is to enhance students’ competency by equipping them with the Foundational and Soft Skills required by the industry. The institutions can also opt for awarding credits upon completion of the programme.
As the programme would provide students with employability skills, the Universities are requested to support the APSCHE and TCS for successful monitoring and implementation of the programme. The Universities, therefore are requested to take consent from each affiliated College for implementation of the programme in their College and also to motivate the students to enrol in the free Foundational Skill Training program and complete the course.
